Silver or black outer side?

Naturally, the black outer fabric heats up more quickly at first. However, the multiple insulation layers prevent the heat from penetrating and entering the vehicle interior. In the long run, both fabric versions provide equally effective insulation.

The key factor is preventing the greenhouse effect inside the vehicle. This is achieved by blocking sunlight—either through reflection (silver fabric) or by completely blocking out light (black fabric).

Conclusion: We recommend the black outer side for discreet camping. The silver outer fabric is better suited for vehicles exposed to direct sunlight for weeks at a time.

Black polyester with a mesh size <1 mm. The mesh openings measure only approx. 0.82 mm! The material is washable at 30°C. Protects against *Culex* mosquitoes, *Anopheles* (malaria), *Aedes* (dengue fever, yellow fever, chikungunya), and tiny insects such as sandflies (Phlebotomidae family; leishmaniasis) and biting midges (filariasis).

Fine mesh beige

Beige polyester with a mesh size of <1 mm. The mesh openings measure only approx. 0.82 mm! The material is washable at 30°C. Pollen Protection

Pollen-protection fabric with a mesh size of approx. 1.2 x 0.2 mm. Featuring an exceptionally fine structure, this pollen-blocking fabric effectively keeps out up to 97% of pollen and 100% of insects. As a result, this specialized fabric helps reduce allergic reactions such as itching, sneezing, and swollen eyes.

Fine loop pile

This carpet features a monochrome design with a subtly heathered texture, creating a lively and dynamic look. Coarse loop pile

The tactile high-low texture (nubbed structure) is made entirely of high-quality polyamide yarn; it is exceptionally easy to care for and can be cleaned using a standard vacuum cleaner. Beyond its low-maintenance nature, this carpeting impresses with a range of other qualities. For instance, the soft, tufted loop-pile surface reduces impact noise by up to 28 dB, creating a quieter, more peaceful environment.

Thanks to its suitability for use with hot-water underfloor heating systems, your rooms can now be heated evenly across the entire floor area. To prevent the buildup of harmful static electricity, the material has also been treated with an antistatic finish. Safety is further enhanced by a high fire-protection rating of Cfl-s1; this classifies the material as flame-retardant and ensures low smoke emission in the unlikely event of a fire.
